  	  in places where big oil companies are to squeamish or just
	  unable to do business in
* gatekeepers - people (in power or having connections to power) in a particular
          place who allow access to contracts/concessions in oil business 
* flacks - Tony Blair speechifying
* lobbyists - Louisiana fight between property owners (trial lawyers)
	  to get oil companies to pay for cleanup
* hustlers - just hangers-on exploiting connections or name to get
	 money from oil interests (Neil Bush)
